Hi Red Sox, One last
update! Sure feels weird not to be
putting a time for warm-ups or game
times in this email! What a great
game last night- We
should be proud of our guys for
lasting out 3 1/2 hours at the park!
(Between warm ups and game time) I
am surely proud of each and every
one of our players- they showed a
lot of spunk and spirit- so as Mr.
Johnson would say, "Let's go Red
Sox"!
To Mrs. Johnson- thanks so much for
the hand warmers- they were a big
hit and I am thinking about getting
some of those for my next trip up to
Lambeau Field! They will now be a
"staple" at the Walch household!
To Mrs. Waldis and Mrs. Peters- your
snack for both teams was a welcome
treat to end the game and I so
appreciate your efforts with
coordinating all that! I just
couldn't believe both teams were so
excited about ice cream sundaes- I
was freezing out there! Ice cream is
a hit no matter what the temperature
so awesome job! Scott had printed
the ballots for snack challenge but
forgot to bring them. Not to worry,
Mrs. Waldis, I would just bet your
name is front and center on the
ballot! (:
Mr. Caesar- thanks for taking that
end of the season family photo- and
I would be happy to pick up the
remaining pictures from you so that
I can sort them along with the
others. Please email me your address
and a good time and I will be there.
Or, you can leave them in your
mailbox.
Mr. Waldis- your stats were no less
than perfect last night- even with
all of those extra innings. I love
how you write in accomplishments
next to the players names!
Mr. Johnson- thanks for the great
cheers! You brought out the best in
our stands! (:
To Mr. Peters- thanks for making all
of those trips back from Carolina to
make it to warm-ups and games! (Now,
that shows commitment!)
To Coach John- Let's face it- You
rock on third base and thanks for
getting there extra early for
warm-ups and getting the field ready
for our team! It sure took a load
off Scott from racing to get there
from downtown! Coach Scott and Coach
John have been coaching together for
a lot of seasons now- and I must
say- What a pair they make!!
To all of the Red Sox parents-
thanks for letting our guys coach
your kids! I won't soon forget many
of their plays or smiles!
Our end of the season party is set
for Jock's and Jill's- Next Friday
night (November 10) at 7PM. The
website for Jocks and Jill's is
www.jocksandjills.com so please
check out the site for directions
and menu. For directions, hit the
Norcross location and it will post
directions from where you are coming
from. They will have it set up for
checks by the family so when you get
there- give the waitress your
families name for your tab.
Ironically, the Peewee Red Sox team
also has their party there the same
night. (Too Funny) So, our room is
in the front- when you get there-
they will probably ask if you are
Red Sox peewee or minors! Mr.
Lampel- I hope you can stomach this
many Red Sox fans in one building
just one last time! (:

when you have time and let me know
how many you have so that I can give
the restaurant a head count!
Our guys did great- but I am always
sad to see the season come to an
end! I hope that you all enjoyed the
season and most importantly that you
have taken some good memories and
treasured friendships from the park!
