Norcross, GA - 3/18/2007 - Norcross Extends Winning Streak - The 9U Blue Devils won for the 4th consecutive time on Sunday as they beat the South Gwinnett Comets by a score of 15-4. Sam Grosswald pitched 2 scoreless innings and Drew Aspinwall stayed hot going 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 4 RBI's. For Drew it was his 7th consecutive plate appearance with a hit. The defensive play of the season so far was turned in by center fielder Zack Walch as South's Evan Sturgill hit a bomb to the deepest part of the ball park and Zack made a running over the shoulder "snow cone" grab with runners on second and third. Zack was able to hold the runner on second as South scored their first run of the game on the Sacrifice Fly.
Norcross is back in action next Friday night playing host to Mountain Park, game time is 8pm.
